Respooling plastic waste
FDM 3D printing inevitably creates waste: supports, color changes, failed prints, prototypes. We want to recover that waste and turn it back into filament.
We want PLA waste!
If you have PLA waste you’re collecting we would love to take it. Empty spools are welcome too! Please see the FAQ page for details.
If you register, we’ll keep track of your contributions and you’ll get reward points good towards future purchases.

Or if you’re in the area you can drop off anytime at the same location:
Turn off S. Wagner Rd. along the north side of MI-HQ building 1. Look for the black bin. Deposit your empty spools and bagged or boxed PLA waste inside.
